Music For Sale

Damn cool…I was wondering..

Sejak lagu So Right dan Far From You singgah ditelingaku, saya langsung jatuh cinta dengan band ini. Sempat terkecoh oleh vokal Mario (vokalis) yang yang sangat ‘John Meyer’, saya pikir band ini dari luar, ternyata saya salah besar. -Mungkin teman-teman juga terkecoh ketika pertama mendengarnya-. Ternyata, Kita masih punya musisi yang berkelas.

What a talented artist…great…

Mereka mengeksplorasi genre pop dalam ramuan jazz dan blues. Sangat easy listening, musik yang apik, tidak rumit, simple, dan tentunya bukan musik pasaran yang setiap hari menjejali telinga kita di acara-acara tv.

Music For Sale tetap menampilkan lagu bertema cinta, namun tetap terkesan gagah dan elegan, sehingga jauh dari kesan mellow yang mendayu-dayu.

Overall. album mereka “Day Dream”, pantas mendapat apresiasi yang besar. Simple but touchfull, it’s nice album.

Sayangnya, perform mereka februari kemarin di Makassar, saya lewatkan,,argghh…
